Hope Trust
Hope Trust is an Irish Charity comprising Hope Counselling, Choose Life and ManPower.
Hope Counselling is a Christian counselling service which we offer to Christians
and non Christians alike. At the moment we operate in 4 towns in Ireland - Roscommon,
Longford, Athlone and Kilkenny. We have a team of Christian counsellors who work
with us on a part time basis and we envisage extending to other towns in the future

Choose Life is a Suicide awareness project aiming to reach out to people in distress,
their friends and families. We look at some of the underlying causes of suicidal
thoughts and feelings and encourage people to talk about these before things build
up to crisis proportions. We offer a programme of information and education to secondary
schools including visits to speak to classes and two DVDs of personal stories. We
also run self-harm workshops around the country and a course called Keys to Spiritual
Wellbeing which addresses some of the underlying spiritual factors contributing to

ManPower offers the course Exploring Manhood addressing the issues that are of importance
for men's personal and spiritual wellbeing.
