We believe in the Biblical concept of there only being ONE Body of Christ, and that
where brothers dwell together in unity, blessing is commanded (see Psalm 103.1-3).
Consequently the Plumbline family enjoys links with many other churches and ministries.
These include:
The Evangelical Alliance was founded in 1846 and is the oldest alliance of evangelical
Christians in the world. The Alliance is the largest body serving evangelical Christians
in the UK, and has a membership including denominations, churches, organisations
and individuals. As part of a movement ‘united to change society’ the Alliance promotes
unity and truth, acts as an evangelical voice to the state, society and the wider
church, and works collaboratively with Alliance members and other evangelicals, to
present Christ credibly as good news for spiritual and social transformation.
Grapevine is an annual camp celebration event run by Stuart Bell and the Groundlevel
team.
Kingsgate (then Peterborough Community Church) was planted out in 1988 when Simon
asked Dave Smith to move from Oxford to Peterborough to plant a church. Plumbline
were privileged to help establish Kingsgate’s early foundations and it is now a thriving
apostolic ministry in its own right.

Simon meets regularly.
